Metal oxide arrester is an overvoltage protection element. It has excellent nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics, large through-current capacity, strong ability to suppress overvoltage, reliable protection, simple structure and long service life.
Under the normal working voltage of the system, the arrester presents a high-resistance insulation state, and only micro-ampere current passes through. When the overvoltage and high current occur, it responds quickly and presents a state of low resistance, thereby limiting the residual voltage at both ends of the arrester and introducing the overvoltage to the ground through the grounding system. After the overvoltage disappears, the arrester returns to the state of high-resistance insulation.
.Ambient temperature: -40°C to 40°C;
.Altitude: not higher than 1000m;
.Solar radiation: maximum irradiation is 1.1Kw;
.Power frequency: 48-62Hz;
.Seismic intensity: below VII degree;
.Wind speed: not more than 35 m/s;
.Icing thickness: ≯20mm;
.The power frequency voltage applied between the terminals of the arrester for a long time shall not exceed the continuous operating voltage of the arrester;
.Note: Under abnormal operating conditions, special consideration should be given to the design, manufacture and use of zinc oxide arresters. Under abnormal operating conditions, the performance requirements of the product need to be negotiated by the supplier and the user.
